Product Description

Plugs , Socket-out , IEC 60884-1, EN 50075, BS 1363-1

Testing Standard
IEC 60884-1: 2002+ A1:2006:       Plugs and socket-outlets for household and similar purpose

EN 50075: 1990:                              Flat non-wirable two-pole plugs, 2,5 A 250 V, with cord, for the connection of class II-equipment for household and similar purposes

                                                         BS 1363-1:1995 +A1 +A2 +A3:        Rewirable and non-rewirable 13 A fused plugs

Product Range  IEC 60884-1: 2002+ A1: 2006

Applies to plugs and fixed portable socket-outlets for a.c. only, with or without earthing contact, with a rated voltage greater than 50 V but not exceeding 440 V and a rated current not exceeding 32 A, intended for household and similar purposes, either indoors o outdoors. The rated current is limited to 16 A maximum for fixed socket-outlets provided with screwless terminals.

EN50075: 1990

Applies to flat non-rewirable two-pole plugs without earthing contact with a rated voltage of 250 V a.c. and rated current of 2.5 A. They are supplied with a cord, for the connection of equipment of Class II, for household and similar purpose, and having no special protection against ingress of water are intended for indoor use.

BS 1363-1: 1995 +A1 +A2 +A3

Specifies requirements for 13 A fused plugs having insulating sleeves on line and neutral pins, for household,  commercial and light industrial purpose, with particular reference to safety in normal use. The plugs are suitable for the connection of portable appliances, sound-vision equipment, luminaries, etc. in a.c. circuits only, operating at voltages not exceeding 250 V r.m.s. at 50 Hz
